1919870 - Error Message : “ID XYZ not permitted .

You want to simulate the customer contract migration object and the following error message is displayed: ID XYZ not permitted.

1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center.
2. Go to Implementation Project View.
3. Select the Project and Open the activity List.
4. Search by the activity:Migration of Customer Contracts.
5. Select the option: Migrate customer contracts using the migration tool.
6. Select the migration object file.
7. Click on Execute migration>> Execute migration Step – by – Step .
8. Simulate the migration. 

The error message is displayed: ID XYZ not permitted .

The contract ID entered on the migration template is bigger than the number range defined by the customer under the activity : Number Ranges for Sales Orders, Customer Contracts, and Customer Returns .

In order to solve the error message you have to option.

Case 1: Enter a new contract id smaller that the number ranger defined.

Case 2: Increase the number ranger for customer contract.
            

1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center.
2. Go to Implementation Project View.
3. Select the Project and Open the activity List.
4. Search by the activity: Number Ranges for Sales Orders, Customer Contracts, and Customer Returns.
5. Open the activity and select the Customer contract option.
6. Increase the number ranger and save it.

after perform one of those two cases proceed with the simulation.
