1921000 - Mobile reports not available in Excel Add-In

Symptom

When you try to open a report using SAP Business ByDesing Add-In you will not be able to find any mobile reports in the list.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the MS Excel and go to the SAP Business ByDesign tab;
  2. Click on Logon and type in the URL to your system and your user credentials;
  3. Click on Insert Report and search for a mobile based report that exists in your system;
  4. You will not be able to find the report in this list.

Cause

Reports that are assigned to mobile will not be available to report inside the SAP Business ByDesign Excel Add-In, they will be only available on the mobile app for iOS/Android/Blackberry devices.

Resolution

In order to make a mobile report available in the Business ByDesign Excel Add-In, you should create a copy of the report and uncheck the box Enable for Mobile Device.
