1921355 - Signal 11 in ptnc_get_ptncond after in-place upgrade from version 15.0.3 - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Upgrade from ASE 15.0.3 to 15.7 using in-place upgrade method (i.e binary overlay).
  • After restarting the new server, all databases were successfully upgraded and came up online, except one.
  • The ASE stacktraced with signal 11 in function calls:

ptnc_get_ptncond()
ptnc_fill_ptnvals()
ind__ides_init_fromrow()
ind_ides_init()
des__fill_common()
