1921481 - Error Message "Service Call Failed; report an case" During Migration of Responsibilities

When you migrate Responsibilities, system throws below error message:

Service call failed; report an case

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview view.
3. Search and open the activity Migration of Responsibilities.
4. Execute Migration of uploaded file.

The cause for the issue could be, in the sheet Work Distr. Rules Details, you might have entered values in the column From Name instead of entering it in From Code.

For every row who has the value Country Code in field Characteristic, the value should be there in the field From Code

There could be multiple reason for the above issue, some of the cases are list below:

Case 1:

The cause for the issue could be, in the sheet Work Distr. Rules Details, you might have entered values in the column From Name instead of entering it in From Code.

For every row who has the value Country Code in field Characteristic, the value should be there in the field From Code

Resolution: Correct the data as suggested above and try migrating the file again.

Case 2:

The cause for the issue could be, that you might have entered wrong Technical name in the Characteristic* in Work Distr. Rules Details.

Resolution: The Characteristic field should contain fields like CITY_NAME, COMPANY, COUNTRY_CODE, POSTAL_CODE, REGION_CODE, ABC_CLASSIFICATION or INDUSTRY. Correct the source file and try migrating Responsibilities again.
