1921523 - 32-bit dbisql: "could not connect to the database" - SAP IQ

Symptom

IQ dbisql client program is a 64-bit application, when attempted to run with IQ 32-bit ODBC driver, it gives the following error:

Unable to load '/SAP/sybase/IQ-15_odbc/lib/libdbodbcansi11_r.so' errno=0
Could not connect to the database.
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /var/cognos/IQ-15_odbc/lib/libdblib11_r.so: ld.so.1: dbisql: fatal:
/SAP/sybase/IQ-15_odbc/lib/libdblib11_r.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32 (Possible cause: architecture word width mismatch)
