Symptom
During implementation of a SAP note, an ABAP object is red-lighted and the following information is displayed:
Changes to <ABAP_object> are forbidden by SAP
Similar to the following example:
You're not able to click on the EDIT LOCK flag for this object, in order to make it editable:
Additional information displayed:
Changes to LJ1BWU03 are forbidden by SAP
Message no. EU522
Diagnosis
You attempted to change ABAP/4 source code, but the author or last user has locked this against further changes by setting the editor lock.
System Response
You are not allowed to change the ABAP/4 source code, but can view it in display mode.
Procedure
You can change the ABAP/4 code only when the user who set the editor lock has canceled it.
SCC4 and SE06 settings are OK on your system (other objects handled by the note can be edited). Still you're not able to proceed with the note implementation.
