Symptom

After you installed the Peoplesoft (8.51 version) integration kit for XI3.1, applied patches (fixpack 6.2 version) as desired and imported the peoplesoft certificate.

  • You are able to provide peoplesoft (PSFT or psft ) role credentials in the CMC,  and are able to see all the roles from the configured Peoplesoft domain
  • But you are NOT able to import the Peoplesoft roles
  • When trying to import the Peoplesoft roles into Business Objects XI 3.1, you are getting the plugin errors as shown below in the CMC.

  • While you will be able to update the PSFT domain, and search for roles - role import fails consistently.
  • Any issue due to PSFT logon credentials has been ruled out because you are already logged in to PSFT and can even search for roles.
