1921956 - OpenDocument returns 404 when using sInstance=Param option

Symptom

  • HTTP 404 returned to the browser when using OpenDocument with the sInstance=Param when accessing using a non default context root (e.g. through a reverse proxy)

e.g. when accessing using a URL such as:

http://reverseproxy/MyTestContext/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?lsSEnter+Year%3A=2004&sInstance=Param&iDocID=ARLQ20eJCJBHmO3IhQ8bwoc&sIDType=CUID

  • http tracing shows that the browser is redirected to an absolute URL of /AnalyticalReporting/WebiView.do instead of /MyTestContext/AnalyticalReporting/WebiView.do
