1922028 - Is it Possible to Change the Hire Date and Service Date of an Employee Before the Start Date of the Org Unit?

You have a requirement to change the Hire Date and Service Date of an Employee to a date prior to the valid from of the org unit to which the Employee is assigned to.

Is it possible to do this? And also, the Hire date and Service date should be same.

1. It is not possible to extend the Hire date before the start date (Valid From) of the Org Unit. So, the hire date of the employee should always on/after the start date of the Org Unit.

2. It is possible to have the Service Date on an Employee to any date. The Service date can be before the Hire date and as well before the Valid From of the Org Unit.

3. You can change the Service Date of an Employee in the Personnel File of the Employee.
