SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

1923187 - Question marks appears in LMS screens - Liquidity Management 6.1

Symptom

Question marks on labels occurred and the following error was seen in the log:


  • [ERROR] - (lms.system ) /apps/bweb/apps/cfmp/tomcat/webapps/LMS-CFM/WEB-INF/classes/com/aleri/alm/resources/MessageResources.properties (Too many open files)

    The interface of LMS CFM application will become as shown below. The named object are no longer being named and is not useable. 
  • Shows names on the screen being corrupted with "???" before and after any name. for example:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
  • ???ALMMain.title???
    ???CashTransactionSummary.title???
    ???etc
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
  • All the tab labels are corrupted.

Bouncing the web service will resolve the issue, but this problem became more frequent, perhaps twice a day.
