• BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_ADD does not add activities, items or cause
  • The following sequence is being followed to update notification
    1. BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_ADD
    2. BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_SAVE
    3. BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT
  • No error is returned

The symptom can also occur for other BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_* BAPIs, for example BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_MODIFY and BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_DELETE
