1923571 - Windows Authentication as monitor login in Managed Systems Configuration Wizard

Symptom

SQL Server monitor login in step 5 'Enter System Parameters' when setting up the 'Managed System Configuration' via Solution Manager Wizard can be either Windows or SQL Authentication. Windows authentication is highly complex to configure. Therefore, SQL authentication is usually recommended and it is the default choice. Please see the known cases in SAP Note 1458291 where you absolutely cannot use Windows Authentication.
However, for some special needs, for example, the target SQL Server instance cannot be set as Mixed Authentication, windows authentication is requested as the monitor login. This note describes how to set the windows authentcation.

Environment

A solution manager system tries to access a remote SQL Server database.
