Symptom

  • Backupserver cannot dump locally, if network interface has more than one IP address
  • Following messages is posted in the ASE backup server log:

The host '<ip address>' is not authorized to connect to this Backup Server.
Backup Server: 2.6.2.10: Login information unavailable.
Backup Server: 2.24.2.1: The host '<ip address>' is not authorized to connect to this Backup Server.
