Symptom

You are running SAP Enterprise Inventory and Service-Level Optimization (EIS) and you need to generate a new encrypted password for the application due to one of the following reasons:

  • You know the password for the SOPS_MIPO schema has recently been changed.

  • The application suddenly will not start, AND you discovered that the password for the SOPS_MIPO schema has been changed, or has recently expired.
