1926831 - Description of New Fields is Not Available for German User

Symptom

You logged in the SAP Cloud For Travel & Expense system as a German user. While creating an expense report you observed that some additional fields are available without description.

You would like to know the function of these new fields.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Travel & Expenses Work Center.
  2. Create new Expense Report.
  3. You observed that some new fields are available without any description.

Cause

In your system new extension fields are added in expense report screen by your system administrator but description is not maintained in German.

Resolution

  1. Login to the system with Key User credential.
  2. Open Expense Report screen in which new fields are added.
  3. Press Adapt & then Enter Adaption Mode.
  4. Press Edit Screen.
  5. Under the Extension Field press Edit.
  6. In the Field Label, press button Edit All Languages.
  7. Maintain the label description in German language.
  8. Save & Publish the changes.
