Symptom

  • Error "Failed to retrieve data from the database"
  • Error "Crystal/OSQL_EXECUTE_QUERY returned: subrc:4 . Message: type "%S" is unknown. Line:4. Word:0"
  • When refreshing reports based off SAP function "FI_IMPORT_BALANCE_SHEET_TEXT" with connection "SAP Table, Cluster,or Function", it generates an error:
      
     "Database Connector error: "Crystal/OSQL_EXECUTE_QUERY returned: subrc:4 . Message: type "%S" is unknown. Line:4. Word:0"
