1928401 - Cannot launch SAPinst STD GUI (old java-based GUI)

Symptom

  • While trying to launch SWPM / SAPinst in a Unix environment, the GUI comes up totally blank; or
  • Issues such as SWPM / SAPinst crashing right after any input was provided to a dialog screen.

Note: This document refers to SAPinst STD GUI (the old java-based GUI). For the new SL Common GUI (web-based GUI) refer to 2502646 and 2480194!
