Symptom

SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) might report the following error message when creating a proxy table on Local ASE where the base table is on Remote Server:

Msg 11214, Severity 16, State 1
Remote object '<database_name>.<owner>.<table_name>' does not exist.
