1929751 - "No roll storage space" or "No more memory available" errors in Financial or Capacity Planning

Symptom

Scenario 1:

  1. In Portfolio Management navigate to Financial Planning or Capacity Planning
  2. A dump with runtime error TSV_TNEW_BLOCKS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY or similar dump occurs in method GET_PERIODS of class /RPM/CL_PLANNING_SERVICES.
  3. Either of the following errors can be seen:
    • RABAX_STATE error "No roll storage space of length xxxxx available for internal storage".
    • RABAX_STATE error "No more storage space available for extending an internal table".

Scenario 2:

  1. Run program /RPM/FICO_INT_PLANNING for one or more items.
  2. A dump with runtime error TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED and category "Resource bottleneck" or similar dump occurs in method GET_PERIODS of class /RPM/CL_PLANNING_SERVICES.
