SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

1931935 - Error - "Query script generation failed. See your BusinessObjects administrator. {0} (WIS 00013) Could not resolve prompt answer :<Prompt value> (WIS 00000)" is displayed when refreshing a Webi report that is based on an SAP BICS connection to SAP BW.

Symptom

  • A Webi report is created based on a BICS connection to SAP BW.
  • The Webi report includes a query filter and runs without any issues in one environment.
  • The Webi report is promoted to another environment.  When the report is run, the error "Query script generation failed. See your BusinessObjects administrator. {0} (WIS 00013) Could not resolve prompt answer :<Prompt value> (WIS 00000)" is shown.

Environment

  • SAP BusinessObjects WebIntelligence BI4.0 Service Pack 05 (SP05) - Patch 3.  This was the version that the customer was on, but this behaviour applies to all versions.
  • SAP BW data source.
