1932002 - Crystal Reports for Enterprise gives "root node not found" when reporting from a HANA Parent Child Hierarchy

Symptom

SAP Crystal Reports for Enterprise 4.1 gives the following error message when reporting from a HANA Analytic View containing a parent child hierarchy via MDX

Error executing query

ErrorCode: 256
Message: SAP DBTech JDBC: [256]: sql processing error: Error occurred while executing a MDX statement. The error message is: Cube AN_PCHIER_ZEROROOT could not be found. Please check if the Cube is valid and exists. The detail error message: Hierarchy not found in hierarchy cache [AT_PCHIER_ZEROROOT].[PCHIER_ZEROROOT] error: Internal error during hierarchy processing;Specified root node not found in hierarchy predecessor data Dimension [AT_PCHIER_ZEROROOT] hierarchy [AT_PCHIER_ZEROROOT].[PCHIER_ZEROROOT]
