1932587 - Long running CIS transaction has a status of "terminating" and cannot be killed - ASE

Symptom

  • A kill <spid> does not end or terminate the spid
  • spid can only be removed by a restart of the dataserver
  • sp_who shows the following status for the problem spid with an open CIS connection.
