1932589 - Error: 'File Repository Server Input is down.' when attempting to save, or view a report created in Crystal Reports in SAP BusinessObjects BI Server

Symptom

  • File Repository Server Input is down.
  • When saving a report to the server, it fails with the error.
  • When attempting to save a report from Crystal Reports, to the SAP BusinessObjects BI server, it fails with the error:

         "Error with SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise
          File Repository Server Input is down."

  • When attempting to view a report created in Crystal Reports, on the SAP BusinessObjects BI server, it fails with the error:
      
         "The viewer could not process an event.
           File Repository Server Input is down.
           Error code: 0 [CRWEB000001119]"
