Symptom

  • Error when trying to log on to EPM Add-in client.
  • Error: "Error while communicating with the server
    Framework message:
    The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required"
  • The following messages can be found in EPM Add-in log (menu 'More / Log'):
    "ERROR BPCProxy FPMXLClient.BPCProxy.Common.Wcf.InterceptorChannelFactory`1+InterceptorRequestChannel.Request The remote server returned an unexpected response: (407) Proxy Authentication Required.
    ERROR BPCProxy FPMXLClient.BPCProxy.Session.SessionServiceHelper.Logoff The remote server returned an unexpected response: (407) Proxy Authentication Required.
    ERROR BPC10Connection FPMXLClient.Connection.RESTConnection.Connect The remote server returned an unexpected response: (407) Proxy Authentication Required.
    ERROR Connection FPMXLClient.Connection.ConnectionManager.CreateConnection The remote server returned an unexpected response: (407) Proxy Authentication Required."
