1934713 - G/L Account Drop-down list Displays Multiple Records During Advanced Search of Journal Entries by G/L Account

In the General Ledger work center, when you try to do Advanced Search of Journal Entries by G/L Account, you enter one account number, multiple account items show up in the list, but you expect only one to be displayed in the list.

1. Go to the General Ledger work center, and choose the Journal Entries view.
2. Show All Postings, and then select Advanced search.
3. In the G/L Account field, enter a target account number.

The system displays more than one items in the G/L Account drop-down list.

You have two Chart of Accounts in the system, and only one is assigned to the Set of Books and is being used. But when you do the search, the G/L accounts in all the Chart of Accounts are displayed.

While doing the Advanced search, specify the Set of Books as well, then the system shows only the account that is in use.
