Symptom
- On SQL Anywhere 9 (and lower) when validating all tables within a database using the Database Validation Utility (dbvalid), it was possible for the utility to exit prematurely without validating all tables with the message "No errors detected."
- The system tables were updated during the validation (i.e. by an event, if no other users are connected to the database).
- The database user that dbvalid connected with had a connection option of ANSI_UPDATE_CONSTRAINTS set to 'OFF'.
