Symptom

  • When attempting to copy and paste report documents, from within the Central Management Console or InfoView / BI LaunchPad, the following error is returned:
  • A critical exception has occured, please share these details with your Administrator. The associated files of the following objects were not successfully written to the File Repository. These new objects will not be functional and should be removed:
    <Folder Path>/<Folder Path>/<etc>/<report title>
    <Folder Path>/<Folder Path>/<etc>/<report title>
    <Folder Path>/<Folder Path>/<etc>/<report title>
  • When attempting to view or schedule the associated report, which appears to have been created successfully but was not, said requests will fail with a message stating the file could not be found on the File Repository Server.
