Symptom
- When starting the SQL Anywhere database server on a 64-bit UNIX system, it was possible for a dbsrv / dbeng executable dependent library to fail when starting the server.
- The database server would fail to start if the virtual memory user limit (ulimit -v) is low, relative to the sum of the physical memory and swap space.
- When this error is reported for attempting to load the TCP/IP libraries specifically for the server, the error message appears as:
E. MM/DD HH:mm:ss. TCP/IP Functions Not Found
