Symptom
After transporting objects such as RSDS, DTP or TRF objects, which are source system dependent objects, two entries are available in table TADIR in the transport target system. If you check the object directory entry you will notice a different behaviour/popups if you call the object directory entry in display or in change mode.
Example: DATASOURCE with source system SRC_DEV
TADIR entry in the original system (BW_DEV) after assigning a development class:
RSLOGSYSMAP in transport target system Q99:
TADIR entry in the transport target system (Q99) after transport:
RSDS entry after transport to target system Q99:
If you call the object directory entry in the transport target system in display mode, you will receive the information that the object catalog will be replaced by the last import. This means that in that case the object catalog entry of the original system will be displayed:
If you call the object directory entry in the transport target system in change mode, you will receive the information that the current object is local and as it has been created by a transport the original package will be assigned:
