Symptom

The SAP Cloud Applications Studio is a software development kit (SDK) that enables SAP Partners, SAP Resellers and SAP Customers to adapt, enhance, and personalize their solution capabilities for SAP Cloud for Customer / SAP Business ByDesign.

Resolution

Please follow the help document from the SAP Help Portal: Home > SAP Cloud Applications Studio > SAP Cloud Applications Studio > Getting Started > First Steps > Installing and Updating the SAP Cloud Applications Studio

  1. Go to the SAP Software Downloads Center via SAP for Me > SAP Software Center
  2. Filter for Downloads
  3. Search for Cloud Studio
  4. Locate the required version
  5. Open the category Maintenance Software Component
  6. Download the Installer

Note:

  1. Your S-user ID must have Software Download authorization. Use the self-service request if needed (see KBA 2891528).
  2. Ensure that your contract has the proper license for the SAP Cloud Applications Studio. For help with this, please directly contact your SAP Account Executive (see KBA 2626344 for correct contact details) or SAP Order Management (see KBA 1660069). IMPORTANT: Licensing issues cannot be resolved through regular support channels.
