Symptom
- Transactions or imports terminate with the following error:
[ASE Error SQL587]: Identity value overflow for field 'SEQNUMBER' in table 'DDLOG'
- The following lines will appear on a dev_w* trace file:
B ***LOG BY4=> sql error 587 performing INS on table DDLOG [dbsynseq 587]
B ***LOG BY0=> [ASE Error SQL587][SAP][ASE ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Enterprise]Identity value overflow for field 'SEQNUMBER' in table 'DDLOG'.[dbsynseq 587]
B ***LOG BZY=> unexpected return code 2 calling ins_ddlog [dbsync 1399]
B db_syflush (TRUE) failed
