1940187 - Error When Calling A .NET Web Service From A PowerBuilder Component Deployed to EAServer 6.x

Symptom

A SAP Sybase PowerBuilder12.5.x component that calls a web service using the PowerBuilder .NET engine, results in an error when deployed to EAServer 6.3.

On the line where the web service function call is made, the following SoapException is thrown:

'The .NET engine is unable to start.'

 The error occurs when following the instructions below from the PowerBuilder Application Techniques manual:

Consuming a .NET Web service from a PowerBuilder NVO If you call a .NET Web service from a PowerBuilder component running in EAServer, you must deploy the Sybase.PowerBuilder.WebService.Runtime.dll, Sybase.PowerBuilder.WebService.RuntimeRemoteLoader.dll and the dynamically generated .NET assembly to the EAServer bin directory.
