  • Using below query fails with error:
    Could not execute statement.
    ALTER TABLE MODIFY <column> <datatype> is not supported.
    (db_alter.cxx 438)
    SQLCODE=-1013024, ODBC 3 State="HY000
  • For example:
    alter table mytable
    modify column3 numeric(22,2);
