1940824 - Error: "ORA-00942: table or view does not exist" during the startup of the application - EIS

Symptom

This error occurs during the startup of the SAP Enterprise Inventory and Service-Level Optimization (EIS) application and is typically in conjunction with one of the following errors in the application log:

  • ModuleException: Could not start the data loader service
    Caused by: com.smartops.dataloader.DataLoaderException: Problem cleaning up statuses
    Caused by: com.smartops.dataloader.service.LoadSetQueueException: SQLException caught
    Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
  • ModuleManagerException: Setup failed for DataStoreModule
    Caused by: com.smartops.datastore.DataStoreException: SQLException caught
    Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
