1941539 - No Journal Entry Created for Goods and Services Receipt

There is no Journal Entry created for the released Goods and Services Receipts (GSR).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Goods and Services Receipts work center.
2. Go to the Receipts and Returns view.
3. Select the Goods and Service Receipts in question and click Edit.
4. Navigate to the Document Flow tab.
5. The Journal Entry is not created for the Goods and Service Confirmation.

The Goods and Services Receipts are created with reference to Purchase orders with Zero price.

This is the expected system behavior.

No journal entry will be created if Purchase Order has zero price. For free items, accounting entries are not relevant.
