1941595 - Is it Possible to Enhance the Reporting Line Unit of Migrated Employees?

You have migrated the basic Employee data of some Employees but you have missed to provide the Reporting Line Unit. Hence, you would want to know whether there is a possibility to enhance those Employee's Reporting Line Unit through migration itself.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view.
3. Select Open Activity List button by highlighting a Project.
4. Go to tab Integrate and Extend.
5. Search for the activity Migration of Employee Data - <Country> and open it.
6. Select the link Migrate basic employee data using the migration tool.

It is not possible to enhance/update the Reporting Line Unit of the Employee who were migrated using the activity Migrate basic employee data using the migration tool.

To overcome the issue, you can provide the Org Unit ID while migrating these employees with the Migrate personnel administration data using the migration tool, in the sheet Work Agreements.

Once, you complete the migration of Employees with Personnel Administration Data, you can find the Employees in Personnel Administration work center.
