1943590 - Launcher fails when the parameter “/app XLS /AOOnly” is used

The message “The launcher is exited with error, see log file for more details” appears in Analysis for Office when using the parameter “/app XLS /AOOnly” in launcher file. Excel starts without Analysis for Office Add-In.

Another situation is when trying to open workbooks using the same parameter and the workbook opens without Analysis for Office Add-In.

The LOG shows the error below:

The reason can be related to the parameter LoadBehavior in your registry settings.

If you can’t find the parameter LoadBehavior in your registry settings (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\SBOP.AdvancedAnalysis.Addin.1), you need to add it manually:

1. Select Start\Run\regedit.
   The Registry Editor dialog box appears.
   
   
   
   
2. Navigate to the folder:
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\SBOP.AdvancedAnalysis.Addin.1
   
   
   
   
3. Go to Edit -> New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value.
   Enter the setting name “LoadBehavior” in the Value name field and define the setting value in the Value data field. Make sure that you use the correct setting name.
