1943657 - After changing the default password for the DBA user in SUP, the replication server MLSRV process fails to start indicating the userid or password is incorrect.

Symptom

  1. The default password for the DBA user is being changed in SUP
  2. After completing the instructions in the 2.1 helpfile and restarting the services in the mlsrv_err.log the following message is noted:
    E. 2013-11-20 11:59:41. <Main> [-10002] Consolidated database server or ODBC error:  ODBC: [Sybase][ODBC Driver][SQL Anywhere]Invalid user ID or password (ODBC State = 28000, Native error code = -103)
    E. 2013-11-20 11:59:41. <Main> [-10382] The MobiLink Server has failed to start
