Symptom
- The BI LaunchPad probe fails when it is run using an authentication type that is different than what is set as the default (default.authentication) in the BILaunchPad.properties file (tomcat\webapps\BOE\WEB-INF\config\default or custom).
- When AD SSO is configured, probe fails with the following error:
"Probe Name: Result: Failed Duration: 109 msec
Diagnostic Messages: Attempting to connect to http://<SERVER-NAME>:8080/BOE/BI
Connected successfully to http://<SERVER-NAME>:8080/BOE/BI
Attempting to connect to http://<SERVER-NAME>:8080/BOE/portal/1310271215/InfoView/logon.faces
Attempting to connect to http://<SERVER-NAME>::8080/BOE/portal/1310271215/InfoView/logon.faces
Logon failed: The Regular Expression pattern "bttoken=([^=&";]*)" in the response body is not found" - When SAML is configured, probe fails with the following error:
"Probe Name: BI launch pad
Result: Failed
Duration: 78 msec
Diagnostic Messages: Attempting to connect to https://<SERVER-NAME>:8080/BOE/BI
Connected successfully to https://<SERVER-NAME>:8080/BOE/BI
Attempting to connect to https://<SERVER-NAME>:8080/BOE/https://<SERVER-NAME>/idp/SSO.saml2
Could not connect to https://<SERVER-NAME>/BOE/https://<SERVER-NAME>/idp/SSO.saml2. Ensure that the URL Base parameter in the properties of this probe is correct.
Exception : java.io.FileNotFoundException: https://<SERVER-NAME>/BOE/https://<SERVER-NAME>/SSO.saml2"
