1944326 - BI 4.0 IDT Error: No Data Federation Service Was Found (FWM 01014)

Symptom

  • In the BI 4.0 Information Design Tool (IDT), when trying to create a connection to BW, the following error occurs:
[Data Federator Driver] No data federation service was found. Reported
error: 'com.crystaldecisions.sdk.exception.SDKException$OCAFramework:
Unable to find servers in CMS <host name>:6400 and cluster @<host name>:6400
with kind pjs and service DataFederatorService. All such 
servers could be down or disabled by the administrator. (FWM 01014)
  • The Data Federator Service is running correctly.
  • KBase 1591974 did not resolve the issue.
