1944899 - Stack traces in Afaria Administrator, XRS1010, XRS6004, XRS6008 errors in Error log

Symptom

  • Attempting to edit the Security page in the Afaria Server Configuration results in a stack trace
  • Any or all of the following errors may appear in the Server log:
    • XRS1010: ComServer: Write Session Log Event Record Failed.  EXPLANATION: The server process could not write an event record to the session log.  ACTIONS: If the message recurs, stop and restart the Afaria service.  If the message still persists, contact your support representative for assistance
    • XRS6004: Error Getting Event Detail Log Recordset EXPLANATION: The database recordset could not be populated. The NT/ADO error code in the Server Log may contain additional information about the failure. Logging may be disabled [DBAccess]
    • XRS6008: ADO Data Access Error Occurred.  Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. EXPLANATION: An error occurred while attempting to access the logging database connection. The NT/ADO error code in the Server Log or the Operating System Event Log may contain additional information about why the table could not be accessed [DBAccess]
