- After applying a BI4.0 patch update or BI4.1 upgrade or patch, VMS stops working
- After an upgrade or patch, clicking Version management link throws an error:
Error: Sorry, Promotion management application is unable to process your request. The error from the server is: com.businessobjects.vms.VMSException: com.businessobjects.vms.VMSException: com.businessobjects.vms.VMSException: java.io.IOException: CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified - BI4.1 SP1 and above update installers seems to break version management configuration. In CMC > Applications > Version Management > VMS Settings are blanked out (see attachment)
