Symptom
- When querying a CHAR / VARCHAR / LONG VARCHAR / NCHAR / NVARCHAR / LONG NVARCHAR column in a SELECT statement with a LIKE predicate, incorrect results may be returned.
- The column uses the Unicode Collation Algorithm (UCA) as its collation sequence, with either the 'CaseSensitivity=Respect' or 'AccentSensitivity=Respect' options.
- The column has a descending index defined on the column.
- The LIKE predicate starts with a prefix of non-wildcard characters.
