Symptom

Logon credentials from an external Process Integration (PI) system (i.e., system out-with the system landscape) are used to logon to a PI system, on the backward journey, for acknowledgements in a federated PI system landscape resulting in unauthorised logon errors, e.g.,

Authorization error while sending by HTTP (error code: 401 error text: Unauthorized)
