Symptom

  • Attempting to start the Web Intelligence Rich Client
  • The Webi Rich Client doesn't start
  • Errors in the log file WebIRichClient*_trace.glf

    **ERROR:jhelpers:CallStaticVoidMethod: EXCEPTION. [JavaHelpers.cpp;169]
    **ERROR:wicdz_client:Exception caught : JVMException : the JVM has stopped with pending exception [wicdz_client.cpp;1147]

    IDT: java.awt.AWTError: Assistive Technology not found: com.sun.java.accessibility.AccessBridge

  • Process Monitor shows an attempt to load AccessBridge.class but the result is PATH NOT FOUND
    • C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\classes\com\sun\java\accessibility\AccessBridge.class
