Symptom

  • An user can change his own password by using sp_iqpassword;
  • But, if the login name contains hyphen, sp_iqpassword reports syntax error:

Could not execute statement.

  Syntax error near '-' on line 1
  SQLCODE=-131, ODBC 3 State="42000"
