1951538 - Infected with Signal 11 in ResVector::getScalarSum or GtgGroup::GtSecondaryInit - SAP ASE

Symptom

Depending on platform you can get a signal 11 and stacktrace in the ASE errorlog including one of these function groups:

double ResVector::getScalarSum()
double ParallelCost::costEst()
CompCode Pop<ParallelCost,ParallelProps>::compare(Pop<ParallelCost,ParallelProps>&)
void EquivClass::eqcSelectCandidates(OptList<CtrPtr<PopBase> >*)

Or:

GtgGroup::GtSecondaryInit(OptBlock*)
PopReptnIndScan<ParallelCost, ParallelProps>::popGenCgp(OptMap<short, tree*, _STL::less<short> >*)

The previous line may be repeated several times, then:

EquivClass::eqcSelectCandidates(OptList<CtrPtr<PopBase> >*)
