Symptom

  • The server is showing: it's doing "Upgrade_4.8+", ONLINE DATABASE for sybsecurity.
  • ./upgrade is not returning at the command line.
  • ./upgrade is hung
  • The sybsecurity database is marked as being online but I can not connect to it
  • All system and user databases, except for sybsecurity are online
