1953341 - Forecasted Utilization Shows Incorrect Value for Team / Reporting Line Unit / Company in SAP Business ByDesign

Forecasted Utilization appears higher or incorrect at Team, Reporting Line Unit, or Company level, while the values are correct for individual employees.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Managing My Area work center.
2. Navigate to the Reports view.
3. Open the report Forecasted Utilization or Forecasted Utilization – My Area.
4. In the Rows section, remove the characteristic Employee and select Reporting Line Unit or Company instead.
5. Alternatively, keep Employee in the rows and add a Result Line.
6. Observe that the Forecasted Utilization value displayed for the group is higher or different than expected.
7. View the data at the individual employee level and notice that the Forecasted Utilization values are correct for each employee.

The system behavior is as designed.

This is expected system behavior. Forecasted Utilization is calculated per employee, so values may appear different when viewed at group level. For correct values, check the report at employee level.
