1953967 - BW Analysis Authorization for Navigation Attribute in Query Based on InfoSet

Symptom

A user without full BW Analysis Authorization executes a query that is based on an InfoSet. There are navigation attributes used in the query. The Analysis Authorization for the navigation attributes acts differently compared to what you expect. It can be either of below symptoms:

  • The navigation attribute A__B is set to authorization relevant (transaction RSD1 -> A -> "Attribute" tab -> B) but no authorization check is done for it.
  • The navigation attribute A__B is not set to authorization relevant but authorization check is done for B.
